What are microbes and probiotics?

All single celled organisms are microbes, this includes viruses. A microbiome is the sum of all the single celled organisms living in and on a body. All living things have a unique microbiome. The extent of your microbiome is vast – for every human cell in your body there are at least 10 microbes.
